Stone Looks, Smooth Feel
A polished aggregate finish is a pebble-type finish whose surface is polished after it cures. Polishing takes the top off the stones, so you get the color and depth of natural aggregate with a surface that is noticeably smoother underfoot.
It is a good choice when you love the look of a pebble finish but want it gentler on feet, and it holds up to Florida's sun and year-round swimming.

Comparing Your Finish Options
We install every major finish, so we can recommend the right one for how you use the pool, not just the one we sell:
- Marcite: classic white, smooth, the most affordable
- Quartz: smooth with more color and better wear than plaster
- Pebble Tec, Pebble Sheen, Pebble Fina: textured stone, the most durable
- Polished aggregate: the stone look, polished smooth
How Polished Aggregate Is Installed
Our crews handle every step, from preparation to the final polish:
- Prepare. The pool is drained and the old surface prepared for a strong bond
- Apply. The aggregate mix is troweled on in one continuous application
- Expose. The surface is washed back to reveal the aggregate
- Polish. Once cured, the surface is polished smooth
- Start up. The pool is refilled and balanced carefully

Polished Aggregate Questions
Is polished aggregate the same as Pebble Tec?
Both use natural aggregate. A polished finish is ground smooth after curing, so it feels smoother than a standard pebble finish.
Does a polished finish last as long?
It uses the same kind of stone aggregate as other pebble finishes, so it is far more durable than plain plaster.
Can I see samples?
Yes. We bring finish samples to your free estimate so you can compare colors and textures.
