Bring an Older Pool Back
Many Orlando pools are 20 or 30 years old. The shell is usually still sound, but the finish is rough, the tile is dated, the coping is cracked and something always seems to need fixing. A renovation takes care of all of it in one project, with one crew.
Classic Marcite has renovated pools across Central Florida since 1988. Renovation is about restoring and updating the pool you have; if you want to change its shape, add features or redo the deck too, see pool remodeling.
What a Renovation Usually Includes
- A new interior finish: marcite, quartz, pebble or polished aggregate
- New waterline tile, step trim and coping
- Crack and surface repairs before the new finish
- Equipment repairs or upgrades: pump, filter, heater, salt system, lights
- Deck resurfacing to match
How We Plan a Renovation
- Inspect. We look at the shell, finish, tile, coping and equipment and tell you what needs doing now and what can wait
- Choose. You pick the finish, tile and coping with samples at your free estimate
- Repair. Structural and surface repairs come first
- Renovate. Our crews replace tile and coping and apply the new finish
- Start up. The pool is refilled and balanced while the new finish cures

Pool Renovation Questions
Is renovation different from remodeling?
Renovation restores and updates the existing pool: finish, tile, coping and repairs. A remodel can also change the layout, steps, features and deck.
How long does a renovation take?
It depends on the scope. A resurfacing alone is quick; adding tile, coping and repairs adds days. We give you a schedule with your estimate.
Can you renovate a commercial pool?
Yes. See commercial pool resurfacing.
