Is Your Pool Losing Water?
Florida pools lose some water to evaporation, especially in summer. But if you are adding water every few days, the water bill jumps or the deck is wet in one spot, the pool may be leaking. Leaks don't fix themselves, and water escaping under a pool can wash out soil and damage the deck.
Classic Marcite finds and repairs leaks in the pool shell, at the tile line, around lights and fittings, and in the plumbing.

Where Pools Leak
- Cracks in the shell or finish
- Around light niches, returns, skimmers and drains
- At the tile line and where the pool meets the deck
- Underground plumbing lines and valves
- Equipment: pump seals, filter and heater connections
How We Find and Fix Leaks
- Confirm. We check whether the loss is a leak or evaporation
- Locate. We test the shell, fittings and plumbing to find where the water is going

Leak Questions
How do I know if it is evaporation or a leak?
A simple bucket test helps: set a bucket of pool water on a step and compare the drop inside and outside it over a day. If the pool drops more, it is likely leaking.
Can a leak be fixed without draining the pool?
Some can; others, like shell cracks under the finish, are best repaired with the pool drained, often together with resurfacing.
Do you repair plumbing leaks?
Yes. See pool plumbing repair.
