Pebble Sheen uses the same proven technology as Pebble Tec but incorporates pebbles that are 1–2 mm in size, tightly fused together and buffed to a high shine. The manufacturer notes the result has a look not unlike granite countertops — polished without being slick.
For most Florida families, this is the sweet spot. It still provides the natural aggregate character and color depth that plaster simply cannot match, but it won’t roughen up swimmers who spend long days in the pool.
